COVID Symptoms during your stay
In the unlikely event that you or one of your party develop symptoms of COVID-19 and Government guidance or regulation prevents you from travelling home as planned, we will permit you to extend your stay for the period of isolation required by the Government at the same nightly rate as you paid in your original booking.
Cancellation on our part due to Covid
If your room becomes unavailable or unusable or, as Owners, we have to cancel the booking for any reason e.g. due to UK /Scottish government restrictions for reasons relating to coronavirus, at any point prior to arrival, then our sole obligation is to confirm the cancellation of the booking to you as soon as possible and reimburse you for all payments made to us or offer credit voucher against a future stay. We are not liable for any consequential damage or losses incurred. We can help you find similar alternative accommodation but cannot guarantee this will be available.
Limiting liability from any infection
We make all guests aware of the measures we take to comply with UK/Scottish/Government cleaning protocols for B+B properties in the context of COVID-19 to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. By making your booking, you agree that we have taken all reasonable steps to do so.
Check in time
Check in time is between 4pm and 6pm unless alternative arrangements have been made. On the day of departure, the room is available until 10am. Earlier/ Later check in by arrangement.
Pricing
All prices shown are in Pounds Sterling (£) per room per night. Prices are subject to change without notice. However, your price is guaranteed once you are given a confirmation and the deposit has been paid.
Bookings
We cannot guarantee to hold a provisional reservation longer than 7 days, by which time the booking must be confirmed in writing or e-mail.
Accepting accommodation by telephone, e-mail or in writing means you have entered into a legally binding contract.
Deposits and pre-payments
You will be asked to guarantee your booking by bank transfer – Persons making a booking within 7 days of arrival will be required to pay their booking in full. A deposit of £20 per room per night is required except when the booking is within seven days of arrival, where the total amount must be paid. Deposits are non-refundable.
Balance of monies outstanding
You have the option to pay the balance outstanding by bank transfer prior to your arrival or settle your balance on day of arrival
Number of persons using the property
The number of persons occupying each room must NOT exceed the number of guests book per room unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations and amendments
Please note that losses arising from the cancellation or curtailment of confirmed contracts may rise to the following cancellation charges:- If cancellation is within 7 days of booking -100% of contract value is due.
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
What the price includes
Prices include bedrooms with colour free view TV, private en suite bathroom, quiet fridge, kettle, hairdryer, light breakfast. Free onsite parking and free WI-FI included.
Pets
Pets are not allowed within the house except guide dogs.
Car Parking
Vehicles left in the car park are left at the owners risk and the proprietors cannot take responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles left in the vicinity of the guest house.
Smoking of cigarettes or e- cigarettes
Smoking is not permitted within the Guest House – should we find any evidence that this rule has been broken there will be a cleaning fee of £50.00. We have external ashtrays available for smokers.
Unfortunately you shall be asked to leave and your custom no longer welcome .
Breakage or damage
The client is legally bound to reimburse Hebrides House Accommodation for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand.
Right of entry
The proprietor shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all times.
Respect of other residents
All customers will show respect to other residents in the property and keep noise levels to a minimum.
Restriction on Accommodation
We reserve the right to remove any person or persons from the guest house due to unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or exceeding the stated occupancy. In this case any refund will be at the discretion of the owners.
Privacy
Any information entered into this website will not be given to any third party.
Liability
Hebrides House Accommodation or its proprietors does not accept liability to the holidaymaker for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to the holidaymaker or to the holidaymaker’s personal property.
